My gog games lang folder is missing

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I want to mod baldur's gate 1 but it has to have dialog.tlk file located in lang folder but the problem is the lang folder wasn't in my game installation folder. But when I check my Baldur's gate 2 it has lang folder and dialog.tlk in there. Should I copy the file to my baldur's gate 1 intsallation folder?

    no, because that lang folder for bg2 is all the bg2 dialogue strefs for bg2, if you replace your bg1 game with it, you are going to have many problems

    did you look in your bg directory for the "lang" folder for bg1ee and not in the "my documents" directory?

    If this were truly missing, the effect would be very obvious - the game basically wouldn't work. No text at all outside of maybe some menu buttons, and that's if it didn't just crash.
    It's far more likely that you just weren't looking in the right place.
