Enable Cheat Console on a mac using

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
How can I enable the cheat console in BGEE on a mac version 1.0.1? I have been all over the web and none of the suggestions work on my version. Playing has become very frustrating because we keep getting killed and I want to be able to use the cheat to heal party members!

    Nevermind - I downloaded a file online that somebody was nice enough to post and can now use the cheat console.
