Symbol of Talos

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
It was my understanding than an evil aligned cleric would, after reaching level 25, be granted a Symbol of Talos by their Deity. Viconia hit level 25, but received no such boon. Are there other conditions that are necessary?

    Never mind. Apparently there have been changes made since my first run way back in V. 1.3. I was looking for a Symbol of Talos to appear. It seems the mechanics have been changed, and the cleric now gets a Symbol appropriate for their specific deity. Viconia now proudly sports a Symbol of Shar. Hurrah! :D

    Viconia and Aerie get unique holy symbols for their unique deities, usable only by them.
    Anomen gets different symbols depending on alignment: Talos if he's CN, Helm if he's LN or if he's LG and the player works with the Helm temple in the beholder quest, Lathander if he's LG and the player works with the Lathander temple in the beholder quest.

    (It's bad scripting which needs a fix. Non-protagonist clerics shouldn't choose their holy symbol based on the protagonist's choices, and Anomen really should get a unique variant of the Helm symbol anyway.)
