Decisions, decisions.

.....OK, we finally go Irenicus to stay dead. And transitioned to ToB with all our gear intact, which was hugely important, since some gear, like The Visage, only appears in SoA.
.....Now I have a decision to make. Jaheira is the only member of my party who is not of evil alignment and looks a bit out of place there. Sarevok, on the other hand, is an evil slimeball who will be right at home. The problem is that Jaheira at this point is an absolute powerhouse. Summon insects, insect plage, creeping doom, summon earth and fire elementals sort of wreck opposing parties. But eventually I will get the +6 version of Ravager, and Sarevok is the only one who can use this weapon to its full effectiveness. Dorn can sort of wield it, but he's going to end up with Ir'revrikal eventually.
.....I may try a few battles using each lineup and see how they go.

the thing about sarevok as well is that he can dual class into 2 classes; thief and mage

he actually makes a great fighter/thief once those thief levels hit over his fighter level, so if you are not satisfied with the thief situation in your group that could work

or, if you go the mage route, he can be a back up mage ( it will take a long while for those mage levels to hit pass his fighter levels and he wont have as many spell slots as the standard mage ) but...

tensers transformation for over 300 HP and with grand mastery in two handed swords and he can really wreck some shop late game

so sarevok can adapt to many situation if you need him to

I have tried dualing Sarevok over to mage in one game, some time ago. It took forever ... well, or so it seemed ... to finally get his fighter abilities back. Fighter->thief might work, but I have my Berserker->thief to cover that particular situation. So, I think I will leave him as he is for now. Also, I have Tenser's Transformation myself, in another incarnation of MC. Not quite as useful for my Blade as it would be for Sarevok, but paired with Offensive spin it should be fairly effective.
