in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
In the Government district of Athkatlam there is a building marked Prison. I decided to explore it. It's a fairly large building, with lots of cells, almost all of which are empty. Talking to the head jailer is totally unrewarding, Is there any point to this structure? It seems like a lot of work to create such a thing, only to have it serve no game function.

    If you accept the thieves guild and they get caught doing their job then they end up.in prison and you have to go there to bribe them out.
    I think that is all.

    You can also get Jan sent there if you don't cover for him in your first meeting.
