RAVAGER is now easy for melee builds to solo -- its official

I hit this brick wall (rvgr) whilst speedrunning my bowless ranger. When I searched, there was NO ADVICE for melee CHARNAME that didn't involve spells and/or trps. Haha... except ignore the summons and focus on rvgr. Not my speedrunning flail-wielding stalker. No sir.

Figured this method out and now rvgr is one of the easiest fights in TOB. But the thing is... its still fun and pleasantly challenging to fight him bc you have to stay focused.

    Is this work with archer or archers like bow and arrows ?

    Its a funny question. A good one. Theoretically, you would reverse the points of emphasis -- meaning that you do all your damage while evading the swords AWAY from the Ravager. Then you would lure the sword CLOSE to Ravager. Then run away and repeat. You might try it! Does all that make sense?

    Dual or multiclass ranger with cleric for utlimate fun. Monsters can be immune to "lower resist", but i dont think any monster is immune to "Resist".

    He is immune to slay and kill, but i cant see immunity to Vorpal Effect. So axe of the Undying +5 could 1 tap this guy?
    Daystar would work wonder as well, and he is not immune to sunray, but 90% chance to block it via MR.
    Silver sword wont work as its only +3.
    The Answere is a lovely wep to reduce his defenses as well.

    This is why i love shaman half orc.
    Axe of the Undying +5, Azuredge +3, Staff of the woodlands +4, shortbow of gesen +4, sling +5 etc.
    And their 2 innate HLA's combined with slayer shape and precasts protection etc can make you a immortal beast(yet vulnerable to dispel, which the ravager has).
    And since you solo you will have around lvl 30 clone from vailor helm which can be spellcasting and using item abilities while ur slayer shape :P

    Techically you could dual as a stalker at level 13 to cleric and fight as slayer shape as well and protect urself vs some dispel with Minor Spell Deflection.

    That's all great stuff, Gel. Speedrunning melee is the original idea but, hey, I call Flail of Ages speedrun-able so maybe you call Axe of Un.
