I need help for a bug in the Umar Hills (solved)

I am stuck in the Umar Hills Quest. I did found Merella'a cabin and her journal and when I talk to minister Lloyd the only useful option is to tell him about some shadow wolves (I already completed the Madulf side quest). When I try to reach the Temple Ruins the area it is not shown in the world map.
As I took a long pause from the game in the last few years now I am only 99% sure that at this point I should have a dialogue option with the minister that unlocks the area or it should be already unlocked. Am I missing something?
If not my game has a bug and in the case how can I fix it, maybe changing something in the variables with EEKeeper?
Thanks in advance for the answer and as I will be away from home and the game for few days I will try to solve my problem with the quest when I will be back.

Clues about the Temple Ruins from Merella's Journal and Mazzy's Note are needed.
While Merella's Journal and Mazzy's Note are crucial for revealing the Temple Ruins on your map in Baldur's Gate 2, their primary purpose isn't to provide detailed clues about the ruins themselves.
Instead, their key role is to indicate the location of the wolf lair, which is within the Temple Ruins area.
Think of it like this: the journal and note are less like a treasure map with specific instructions and more like a signpost pointing you to the general area where a problem needs addressing (the wolf attacks) and where further investigation is needed.
It's by having both items that the Temple Ruins location becomes marked on your world map, allowing you to proceed with the Umar Hills questline and further investigate the area, including the dungeon entrance.
In summary:
Merella's Journal and Mazzy's Note point you towards the wolf lair and, indirectly, to the Temple Ruins as the location where you'll find the lair.
They don't offer specific clues about the dungeon layout or its puzzles, but rather guide you to the area where you'll find further clues, like Lellyn's Journal or the Glowing Stone which help with the temple's secrets.
Note: Speak to the wolf in the Wolf's lair and he will reveal the location of the dungeon entrance.
Getting inside of the dungeon is a bit tricky. There is an item you need to get, but its location isn't immediately obvious.
1) Once you are inside the dungeon, you will have the opportunity to rescue Mazzy herself. You can recruit her if you have space available.
2) There are a lot of undead wandering around. Having weapons and spells useful vs the undead would be nice. Daystar, the Mace of Disruption, strong cleric/paladin with a good chance to turn undead ... that sort of thing. Keldorn, for example, woulld be ideal.
3) Having someone who can animate dead is also of value. Skeletal warriors would be excellent at running interference.
Thank you. As I told I have done this quest many many times, I have even done it with Tactics mod installed and an under leveled solo Sorcerer as first quest outside the town and with Tactics it is way harder, instead of the usual enemies near the lava pool and the trap with the alphabet letters you find liches and demons hitting for 1K damage. Now I am playing on the relaxing (for me) insane and with a strong full party with more then 1.5M xp, I will skip the Dragon as I still lack of the spells to turn him to stone and back to flash few times to farm some free xp, but I know how to craft the symbol and what to do with Amuana's bones, I just forgot about Mazzy's letter and missed it when I did loot the cabin.
