level 8 spells best ones for a mage

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
yes i am looking at level 8 spells for my mage and i have 1 cert which is abidalziis horrid wiltin but i need at least 2/3 more and not sure which are best, andbody got any suggestions please let me know :)

    Horrid Wilting is great, yes. I don't know why it's party friendly but I'm not going to ask questions about that.

    Spell Trigger can be very handy for quick firing Lower Resistances or Greater Malisons for battles where you want to use those. Or just load it up with some mayhem and chaos for weakening or debuffing enemy parties at the snap of your fingers.

    Symbol of Stunning, Symbol of Fear, Power Word Blindness, Incindiary Cloud, Simulacrum are all useful.
