  I have gone waaaay back in my saves, and apparently I have not had the ability to assume Slayer form since my first transformation in Spellhold (which was involuntary). Now, someone mentioned that it is not necessary to have the Slayer in my abilities to win the game, and that is true, but the loss of the option is annoying. Looks like I am stuck with it though.

  make sure you have the cheat console enabled and input the following command;
  
  C:SetGlobal("GivePowerSlayer","GLOBAL",1)
  
  and then this should give you the option to turn into the slayer in your special abilities

  I am reluctant to mess with things like this; I'm bad at tech stuff. Save the ini file. Where? How? I think I'll pass, for now at least. I'm planning on importing all these guys into ToB; maybe that will restore things.

  if your cheat console is not enabled its very easy to enable it;
  
  - go to your "documents" folder and open up the baldur's gate II enhanced edition folder
  - inside you will see a file called "baldur"
  - use notepad to open this file up
  - inside you are going see a whole bunch of lines ( set the format to "word wrap" in notepad, this makes it easier to read )
  - such lines will include things like; SetPrivateProfileString('........','1') and so on
  - DIRECTLY COPY PASTE THIS LINE:
  
  SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1')
  
  - into those program lines, preferably in or around other "program option" profiles (refer to screenshot 1 )

  

  - then save notepad and now your console will be enabled
  
  
  then open up BG2EE
  
  - during game press crtl+shift at the same time, and a little window will open up at the bottom of your screen ( and a bunch of "cheat" options will load at the top of the screen )
  - in that lower window screen directly copy paste this command:
  
  C:SetGlobal("GivePowerSlayer","GLOBAL",1)
  
  - once that is exactly typed into the bottom window ( refer to screenshot 2 circled in red ) press enter

  

  - now you can change into the slayer at will
  
  this process literally takes less than 2 mintues at most
