Stats seem okay, not Dorn level, but she's a mage, so a total of 80 with stats in all the right places. I would say it's surprising, for a romance, not to give her an arbitrarily high charisma score though.

Indeed, it often amazes me how certain people manage to breed. Still, just look how meek and lacking in self-worth Aerie was at supposedly 14 Charisma, hopefully the EE writing team don't take 11 Charisma to mean she has trouble recognising herself as an independent entity...
Oh you are right. I didn't remember that Edwin was so insanely overpowered compared to any other mage. I guess he just wipes the floor with Neera then.
Why do people say her constitution is high? 14 gives 0 HP bonus. It would make absolutely no difference at all if it was 7 (also 0 HP bonus).
I hope she has something that sets her on par with Edwin, who has +1 spell slot per level and doesn't suffer from wild surges.
Two spell slots actually, on top of being a specialist. And 18 INT... I too hope she gets some kind of boost.
just one. he only gets two in BG2... and BGT, because for some reason, he uses the same amulet for both games, which really shouldn't work like that. in BG1, Edwin originally only gets one extra slot over other spec mages.
All the best characters are chaotic neutral. This figures, seeing that Neera, for being the typical "Female romancible, PLEASE SUPPORT MY OPINION TYPE", is actually decently designed, as far as character depth goes.
The neat thing is, Chaotic Neutral goes with both Evil, and Good parties perfectly, in most examples.
Oh, this screenshot also answered my own question of whether or not BG2 portraits would be replacing the originals (I.E. Imoen). Suppose not! Which is a shame because I like Viconia's BG2 portrait much more.

You can easily use CN in an evil party, Neera *and* Dorn, I though she was going to be Good, am actually considering her for my evil party as an option...

afaik, you can't dual Imoen into a specialist mage. Neera IS a specialist mage. so chances are, she'll kick way more butt then Immy could. (okay, Imoen could use light crossbow of speed, but still... Neera looks very nice.)

No they're not, at least not compared to the other Mage NPCs in BG, she's got higher Dex than any of them, for a start, and better Con than Xan or Xzar

@Fyre True Neutrals are also fine with putting into Evil or Good parties, and LNs are fine with LEs, or even NEs as long as they follow the law.
The top left is AC (2), bottom left is HP (19/19), top right is Thaco (18), and the 2/7???
