Half Black Screen

Hello I just installed the latest Enhanced edition and when the game starts after the character creation and intro prologue, half of the screen goes black. When I open a tab the problem goes away but when i close the tab the same problem reappears. I am on a HP laptop with an ATI Radeon card.

Any help please?
