@Aliard1806 Double 'like' for you, because you (a) figured out that you can maybe solve your issue on your own and (b) not blasting everybody that made the game just because you ran into a challenge.

I'd give a third like, but you only had two posts.

I'm having problems getting around the crashing after clicking "Play". :( I'm running Windows 8 on the new Razer Blade laptop (NVidia GeForce GTX 660M) and have tried all different compatibility modes with no luck. Any ideas?

I think I have the same problem, but I don't even get the notification that it crashed, it just closes when I click play.

Also, I just updated the driver to version 9.18.13.721 and still no luck.

Worked 4 me aswell... I didn't need to restart or anything...

Just updated the driver to Catalyst 12.10... Seemed to work for me...

    iCore5
    16 GB ram
    ATI 6600 Radeon HD
    Win 8

I've got win7 comp turned on and admin rights...

But don't know if that have anything to do with it...

I had the same problem, it is caused by having two graphics cards in the system (Intel HD 4000/GTX 660M). Go to Nvidia control panel, search for 3D settings there, find baldur.exe, choose nVidia as prefered GPU for this application - and the problem's gone.
