I noticed one difference from the original game. not all things can be recognized from any vendor.
Book of charisma and magic ring of the princes +1, I could not distinguish from a blacksmith, only by priest in the Nashkel. In this one magical weapon is recognized among ordinary traders.

    It actually was the same in the original game. Most vendors can identify only the items they sell (or buy). For instance, Talanthyr will identify almost all kinds of items, while the guy in Thunderhammer smithy will identify only armor, weapons and shields :)

    Strangely enough, it seemed to me that no attachment to identify the merchant class.
    If it is correct then I apologize. wait until the magician learns a spell)
