[Bug] Quickly Moving Inventory Items

When clicking on an inventory item and quickly moving it over other items in the inventory, the selected item will sometimes swap out with one of the items it moves over. Instead, clicking an item should "pick up" only that item until placed down. Verified in IWD/HoW with fixpack installed.

    I'll add that this becomes annoying when trying to quickly equip items (e.g., reequipping a raised character) - the wrong item can end up selected instead.

    This is probably an interface issue. I may be totally irrelevant in the new interface.

    Haven't experienced this in the beta. Will class as non issue for now.

    Still occurring, as verified in first release of BG:EE. Moved back to Bugs.

    This is a pebmac. You hold the mouse button down while moving the item over another slot.
    When you finally release the mouse button, the swap occurs, as it should.
    Solution:
    1. release the mouse button before moving out of the initial slot
    2. release the mouse button after reaching the destination slot

    Thanks for your input. : ) I can see your point, but I would call this normal functionality getting in the way of player function (in this case, quickly reequipping a revived party member). Perhaps a timer could be implemented to delay the hold and release functionality you mention for a brief moment. This would allow for "clicking and flicking" in the inventory screen.
