Safana's charm person ability doesn't trigger

In my game when she tries to use it she just walks to the target and waits. She should start casting it.

    Instead of using the ability Safana runs towards the target, and does nothing. Spell is not used, tested with and without armor.

    In mine she doesn't cast, you can heard just a "smack" and then the creature is charmed (if she fails her st)

    She doesn't cast, this is an innate ability. She doesn't need to wiggle her fingers to charm someone.

    I can confirm this wasn't working for me as of a week ago. Not a lack of casting animation, but a lack of functionality. The "Charm Person" didn't appear in the dialogue box, even. I'll see if I can find her and reproduce.

    You should see either 'Charmed' or 'Saving throw'.
    For elves/half-elves you might see nothing (they resist her charms like other charms).

    That came out wrong. Regardless, I wasn't able to reproduce the bug. Having now seen it working properly, I should note there was no kissing sound made either on the prior attempts.

    Sorry, to be clear there was no message at all on prior attempts, nor was there a hand push gesture. I tried it more than once on Bandits, if that matters.

    Yeah, it won't work in combat! That might be a nuance not mentioned earlier.
    You know, this isn't magical. So, it works only in casual situations.

    Ah, ok. My bad! Well, that makes sense :). I feel a bit silly now. It felt odd to me at the time, which is why I didn't initially report it.

    Interesting! I've had it work just fine in combat many times.

    The problem is with one of Safana's cre files (SAFANA4). I think its already been fixed in the internal build.

    Given Safana's personality, she would probably wiggle something else to charm people. *ahem*

    Known spells > spin108.
    Memorized spells > spin119.

    In my game Safana can use her charme ability in combat too.
    But I've begun the game before the last update...
