Bug w. Gauntlets of Orge Strength

I have killed the npc with these gauntlets in the low lantern, and equipped them on Viconia. I saved, then logged for dinner. Upon re-entering the game, I loaded my saved game and now they are gone. She is using her old +1 thaco gauntlets. The orge strength gauntlets are not in inventory, not at any of the merchants I sale at, and the npc that dropped them is dead and gone. I could cheat I guess and get them back w. the cluaconsole thing, but reporting this as a bug for now.

    Look in other character's inventories too :D

    Oh I did; full inventory scan, checked their gear-etc. Its no where to be found. Im very sure I didn't vender it off (double checked the 2 merchants I've been using to double check). I dont drop trash items on ground (use a barrel outside of the thieves guild for such). Its just gone. :/ I noticed today that a quest item is missing too-the book of curses for that one chick in spurgin sturgeon inn for her cursed child. I went to turn it in, and its missing O.o.

    What platform? I looted the gaunts and have not lost them on PC.
