Narlan's Thief Quests using Dual Class Imoen

Can anyone tell me if I will still be able to do the Narlan's thief quests with Imoen as my only thief if she has been dual classed to mage? If so, do I need to re-enable her thief class by levelling the mage up to the same level?

    I've never tried it without thief active, but I can confirm it works dualed if you have thief active.

    Inactive thieves will work.

    Indeed. Just cast invisibility when they ask you to remain hidden and cast knock when they ask you to be a burglar.
