Stupifier +1 stun ability?

Is there anything that indicates if/when this actually works? I have the combat rolls visible in the dialoge box and have been going back through each fight over the past hour or so and have yet to see any indication that any foe has been stunned...

    Are you fighting undead or other unstunable beings?

    Doesn't the enemy animation completely stop in mid action during the stun as well? I don't remember the combat log at all, but I seem to recall when I was trying this out that I noticed it was going off on any enemy that could take a couple of hits and not die.

    There are also sparkles it looks like when they get stunned.

    I want to say that it also says they are stunned, but I'd have to be at home to check that.

    It does say stunned in the dialogue box. But it seems to happen a lot rarer than the 25% chance listed.

    Maybe the problem is I have Branwen weilding it and she only gets a hit about one of 10 swings LOL I'll keep watching.

    there's no animation but stuff does get stunned. i have yeslick swinging it and he stuns people regularly

    Poor Branners. We love her, but she doesn't really live up to her 'warrior priest' boast.

    I get an animation when it stuns.

    And I've mainly used it on my CHARNAME and he stuns things to the point of locking them down till they are dead.

    yep, same as moopy here, works fine and roughly 25% of the time.

    I've got Minsc swinging the mace and he regularly stuns things into submission.

    Try dual wielding the mace with the dagger of venom for fun

    I have Minsc dual wield the Stupifier with another +1 mace and it procs every so often.
