Version not updating properly

So I attempted to join my friend's MP game and it came up with a version mismatch. I am on version 1.0.2011 and she is on 1.0.2010, but her launcher seems to think it's up to date. I suggested she try to "repair install" with the button on the bottom right of the launcher but now when she runs the game it brings her straight to the main screen and doesn't bring up the launcher at all.

I am getting so f*****g bored of issue after issue after issue. Can anyone suggest a method for manual updating or another solution?

    There is no manual updating.

    What I suggest doing is this:

    Navigate to the installation directory and find the data folder
    Delete 766.beam and 766.status
    Go back to the Beamdog Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition site and log in.
    Click Install now to download the most recent updater/launcher.
    Install the updater, overwriting the existing one (your data folder will not be deleted)

    This will force the game to use the most recent updater as well as recheck all data.

    Thanks Chris. Haven't tried this yet because she's been mega-busy (you know what maidens are like with festivities) but I appreciate your help even if it fails.

    attempted this to get a new launcher since I cant download the latest patch and now my launcher simply doesnt start up at all.
