Archer level 3, a nice THAC0 boost

I just leveled up my archer to level 3 and he received a whopping +4 boost to THAC0 and +2 to damage with a long bow. He just turned into a killing machine :)
I didn't realize you receive the archer feat (+1 to hit and +1 to dam) and a new weapon proficiency (in this case a third pip to long bows -> +2 to hit and +1 to dam) at the same level.
I think I'm ready to tackle the mines now ;)

    I know they can and it can really bite with insane difficulty. Luckily those little bastards die with one shot :)

    Um, wasn't that pretty much ripped off of Tolkein? In the end, I think Gandalf said it better.

    EDIT: On topic, yeah, Archers are awesome. Even with the APR nerf.
