Neera Romance... no talks for 25 game days and several hours of real time?

So im doing the Neera romance, did her quest in the very beginning and the romance talks came along smoothly. Until now... no talks for 2 chapters and about 25 game days and several hours of real world time.

Im wondering if i screwed up the romance? I didnt get that impression from the lovetalks but since i haven't had any dialogue from her yet im starting to fear that it may be so.

She got a bit agitated in the last talk and there's an entry in my Journal titled "Watch what i Say", which mentions i should be thoughtful of what i say to her next.

    What happened in your last talk, specifically? If there was a kiss, that's it, over till EE2.

    No kiss. I cant remember it exactly, but she started off with a fairly mundane "small talk" comment to which i gave a seemingly normal reply and then she told me something like that i was too insensitive sometime. (it could be the talk about why i let her tag along, but im not 100% sure)

    Anyway, from the text in my journal im assuming the romance shouldn't have ended yet... have looked for a romance guide but unfortunatly none seem to have been written yet.

    generally, what causes the bug is the Adoy quest (or at least I think so), more specifically the player being a lazy gremlin about it.
    try: CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("neera_romance","global")
    if it's 2, and no kiss so far, everything's fine. but it'll be 3, so...

    CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("neera_romance","global", 2)
    after you did the Adoy quest. rest a few times, get drunk, adventure, etc, just pass the time, and voilà!

    Actually, the global variable is -1.
    Which probarly means I legally screwed up the romance?

    Oh well, looks like she'll probarly be frontlining in the Ankheg area then.
    Let's see if Dorn can develop an interest in male gnome cleric/illussionists

    yup, you pissed her off. if you're not dead set on dick punching ankhegs with her, try messing around with variables, 1 comes after first talk, 2 after second one, 3 means romance is finished.

    I've pissed her off and ended the romance and successfully "completed" it and I still have no idea what I did differently.

    I remember her seeming to like me saying she should make me a sandwich lol

    Yeah, Neera is definitely *not* Aerie...she doesn't go for the classic "nice guy". Her type seems to be more of the Confident and sarcastic.

    I was thinking about only taking her along for a while to get her gem bag, but after the first dialogue I changed my mind. Hopefully she's into me ;)

    So, is it over after the kiss or what's the deal, it seems every option after kissing her sets the variable to 3.

    My guess would be that it's a setting for BG2EE to not trigger any further romance options since you've already pissed her off.

    So if CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("neera_romance","global") returns "3" and there's been no kiss so far, does that mean I've screwed the romance (as this is what I got after my most recent conversation with her)? I think I may have messed it, though I thought I was being reasonable!

    If so will entering: CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("neera_romance","global", 2) reset this (I haven't done Ahoy's Quest yet) or do I need to type a different value?

    @Oxford_Guy There's a bug where the variable changes to 3 after her romance timer runs out, but you never get the conversation because you took too long to complete her quest. Changing it back to 2 should work. (Note: You do need to complete her quest to get the last conversation.)

    ...or you could just download the update :) Looks like this fix made it in, and it was changed in a way to be compatible with your current state.
