Attempting to allow son to play Baldur's Gate under his own login.

Hi all, I apologize in advance for this silly question. I love my Mac, but am still getting used to it.

I can play the game fine under my login. When he logs in under his account, we can see the BG Launcher ICON in his applications folder, but when he clicks on it, he gets the message unable to write to the applications folder, drag and drop the application to the applications folder. We tried that and still get the same message. I even checked parental controls and clicked the BG launcher under applications. Still nothing. What am I missing to allow my son to play BG under his own login?

    The game is installed in Macintosh HD/Applications? Is his login a regular user, or admin? Did you try launching the game directly, as opposed to the launcher?

    He's logged on as a regular user and I am the admin. I can try and launch the game directly, but all I see is the launcher though under both logins.
