Preparing for BG2:EE

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
Right now I'm running a Sorcerer for my first play through of BG:EE. From what I understand, I'll be able to port this character to BG2:EE when it comes out. My question is, will I have the option to re-select spells when I import him? I ask this because there are spells I want to select but I'm worried that they won't be much use in part 2. I don't know if it's safe to choose spells for the short term or if I should be choosing for the long-hall if I don't get the option to select new ones.

    You can always Shadowkeeper them if you can't.

    I would like to know this as well.

    For me SK isn't really an option, I dont want to mess with the game programme :)

    Been a while since I've imported a Sorceror, but I don't believe you do get to reselect.
