in Upcoming D&D Video games which country do you wish the game take place in..
as we know already most modern DnD Video games have been around sword coast... and to tell you the truths am so tired of sword coast.. i think Bg series, Ice wind dale and NWN are wonderous games and I enjoy them... but still the advunturer in me want to explore other places of abir-toril. so the question is so... in possible future DnD video games what part of Abir-toril interest you and wish your charname to explore it...

For me it would be countries of The Utter East and the far east and the reason for it is very easy those countries are close to Kara-tur and Zakhara continent which make it a perfect place for new races and classes.. plus to be honest it is so little information on those places that it would make any game designer extremly happy cuz they can do what ever they want and bring new stuff... other places of abir-toril they don't have the same freedom to do as they pleases...

The Utter East
Ulgarth
The Five Kingdoms
Doegan
Edenvale
Konigheim
Langadarma
The Free Cities of Parsanic

Far east:
Semphar
Murghôm
Thesk
Aglarond
Thay *edited* (I almost forgot Thay)

what is your thoughts and which country do you like to visit and se...
for those who don't know Faerûn countries please look at this map and read this wiki

Though I admit that was full on trollling, it might indeed be awesome to play something set during the war between Rashemen and Thay. Also a great opportunity to finally make specialist mages more special.

I'd like to see Waterdeep, like.. properly. Not just 1 pub in it or whatever.

one Interesting fact about Thay is that they are at war with almost every neighboring countries (Murghôm, Thesk, Aglarond and sometimes they get suicidal and attack (or defend) against Mulhorand empire)

I'm a Drizzt and Jarlaxle fanboy so naturally I would like to see a game that takes place in the Underdark. A proper large underdark with a heavy emphasis on house and/or race intrigue. Perhaps based in Ched Nasad. And I'd like it to be fairly heavy on the intrigue compared to BG, mayhaps not as much as Torment. A good mix of the two! (Not asking for much here at all am I!)

good ideas comes when people are open to all kind of new suggestions
hmm... so you like drow cities..... now I think about it I do belive there is some major cities of drow near Thay and thesk..not sure... need to read my old Dnd books....oh I found it.... I like this city....

    Undrek'Thoz, the Segmented City
that drow city is under Thay....
and they are almost ruled by drow monks...

Ched Nasad, definitely. Some Veldrin guy lives there, apparently, and I really need to find out what he's been up to...

The Underdark in general is a perennial fan-favorite, though maybe a bit too much so. Kara-Tur might fall into similar cliches.

I guess Waterdeep is famous and important enough to warrant a closer look. Sigil's been done, though for me personally it still remains one of the coolest locations.

Maybe something from a different time? Old Netheril could be quite interesting, I always wanted to work for Larloch or Karsus...

I would loved to have seen something set in the Shining South. Halruaa, the Shaar, Dambrath, Ormpur, Var the Golden, etc. But that region was dessimated by the Spellplague. :\

^ That sounds pretty good IMHO.

Anything NOT 4th ed. And I would like to see something away from Toril, for a change...but NOT planescape! How about some real Astral Planing? I would like that...

    Westgate.

    Love that city.

    @Lemenis
I do belive that some of the Shining south countries survived the spellplague.... like Dambrath, estagund, Durpar and little bit of var the golden (now more called Var the Drowned)

everything depends on which timeline they put the next dnd game... for me the timeline between time of trubles and before spellplague are the best....

hmmm maybe a pirategame in Sea of Fallen Stars (That would be nice game).... visiting Westgate, starmantle, sapra,Nyth or maybe emmech

Sadly I must point out for people who love Chad Nasad that drow city is destroyed... (if they do a game around the time before 3rd edition then chad Nasad is still alive and kicking as a city... after 3.5 edition it is a monster and dangerous dragons home )
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_of_the_Spider_Queen

and this happend before spellplague... in the book series of War of the Spider Queen they explain everything how that city goes under.... but still there are some interesting drow cities left.... like Undrek'Thoz, the Segmented City were the order of drow monks tries to take the power from matron mothers... and some other city :)

The final expansion to NWN2, Storm of Zehir, is actually set in the Samarach / Chult region if you haven't played it yet.

    @KingGidorah
aahhh yes NWN2 Storm of Zehir what a wonderful game it was... I really enyojed to be in Samarach... fighting snake monsters and that new interlope god Zehir followers... by the way why is there so many sneake gods in Abir-Toril??? Set, Sset and now Zehir...... I think Set is enough as The god of snakes and murder.... the rest are to much .... they should die as Garagos lost the war domain to Tempus

Waterdeep. I know it's along the sword coast, but we've never been there and it's like the "New York City" of FR. Heaps of adventure could happen there cause of Undermountain and of the city itself.

I've always wanted to go to Silverymoon, and the area around there, as well as the Underdark. Even though we have BG2, IWD2, and HotU that takes you to the Underdark, but I want more.
