Easiest way to export NPCs?

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
I'm hoping to play through the Black Pits using a variety of BG NPCs. Is there any way to export them, keeping their voicesets, colors, etc? I don't see the options other than the main character.

    You can only export charnames/characters you created (you can export all of your Pits party). If you have console enabled, you can transfer your BG party into the Black Pits (with "transfer to area code", it's in the modding forum forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/8317/how-to-manually-customize-your-game) and back out. It does remove all your items, and you'll only have the equipment a regular Pits party would have. So if you have items on you that you still need, store them in a barrel or something.
