No Skill Points Given When Leveling

Hello, all. I am having an issue with skill points for my characters. Each time they level up they are not given any skill points to distribute. I currently have two characters at level 2, and one at level 3. None of them were given any skill points when they leveled up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    With this rules edition I am pretty sure there are no skill points addition. Rumor has it the Sword Coast may have a few instructional manuals that can increase an attribute here or there.

    U don't get skill points at every level. It depends for different classes. Like thieves always get thief pts every level. Most other classes gain weapon proficiencies every few levels.

    Warrior classes (barbarians, fighters, paladins, rangers) get an additional proficiency point every 3 levels, rogue and priest classes (bard, thief, cleric and druid) get one every 4 levels, mages and sorcerers get one every 5 levels.
