BG Blank Launch Screen

Ever since I got the game I get this screen when I launch the game. Is this what's supposed to be showing? I never brought it up because it's not a big deal. I'm just curious to see if this is normal, and if not what is supposed to show.

    Intel GMA? Sorry, out of luck for now. Intel IGPs have poor OpenGL support.

    Let's remember that the culprit are actually Windows drivers. No problem at all with Intel GMAs using Linux+Wine (or Mac OS X, for that matter).

    It's not really a problem. It doesn't affect gameplay in any way. After this screen everything displays properly as far as I can tell. I'm just curious as to what is supposed to show on that screen. Maybe the Beamdog or Overhaul Games logo?

    Ah, nope, that is not a glitch. It happens because your GPU and the graphics engine is faster up than the graphic data that has to be loaded from the HDD.

    Defragmenting may reduce this from happening (WARNING: DON'T DO THIS ON AN SSD).
