So, I'm working on an observation paper about an object that is important to me and has strong emotional content. For me it's my first d20, which I still keep in my pocket for well over ten years now.

I was just wondering if any of y'all out there had something similar that you hold on to that reminds you of your D&D roots or is a significant factor in your D&D lifestyle =) I don't play anymore (my D&D friends and I have parted ways) but we still reminisce once in a while and there have been recent talks about getting together one day for one more hurrah =)

    I do. When the Living Greyhawk campaign ended, I kept all my character sheets and Adventure Records. I sometimes crack them open and remember games I'd played.

    It's all Pathfinder Society now, but those were some fun days indeed.

    I still have quite a bit of stuff left from when I played. When it comes to D&D roots though, probably the most significant thing I have is my first edition AD&D PHB from when I first started playing.
