Is it safe to assume that if BGEE 1.2 works fine BG2 will too?

Hey, I'm forced to use my laptop for now and BGEE started working with 1.2 - I was getting a white screen before. Can I assume that BG2 will work fine now on release day GPU-wise? (I'm not worried about ram or cpu power)

    Yes; they both use the same engine, so if one works, the other will too.
