illegal class combos

Is it in anyway possible to make a barbarian/thief or a sorcerer/monk (you get the point)

with mods. Is it possible, or should i give up my search for ways to do this.

Barbarian/Thief is possible with the BG2 Tweaks pack

That's because Barbarian is coded as a Fighter kit. You can only create existing multi-classes (with kits), so you can make a Barbarian/Mage or Thief or Cleric, and a Fighter/Wild Mage, but not a Fighter/Sorceror or a Monk/Thief.

This extends to other more normal dual and multi-classes too. You can only combine Druid with Fighter, and you cannot make a Fighter/Thief/Cleric.

no I tried ;/.. I guess you could add in monk abilitys, but you would have to do it each level manually

No. The possible multi- and dual- class possibilities are hard-coded. You can use 'Keeper to add kits to your second class or multi-class humans, but you can't create a multi-class monk or Paladin, or a Ranger/Druid

would it be possible to dual class a Kensai at lv 9... and then Edit the dualed class to monk ? ;D

No. It would either change you into a single-class monk or it would break the game.

You would probably keep all the kensai bonuses, though.
