Starting BG2 from BG1 save file...

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
...correct me if i'm wrong, but when i choose this option the game states that we are going to loose the bag for scroll/gems?

PS: didn't tryed yet :P

    Ok :( didn't remeber that from the first time i played BG2 ages ago :D So goodbye to the 4 protection from magic scroll :D

    You can buy scroll cases and gem bags from merchants in BG2. They were never available in BG1 vanilla before, which is why they added them as bonus items.
