I don´t know about game mechanics, but there should be little problem there, since the radiant heart never really cared what it´s members do outside of the stronghold missions (blackmail, assassination, working for undead monsters , consorting with demons...) as long as the player kept the reputation high enough. From a role-playing point of view there is no way really, since you have to perform evil tasks even some aimed against the order of the radiant heart itself. And those acts are so evil, even the journal entries for the quests are evil.
What happened to the paladin stronghold? The main hall seems to have been refurbished and the characters that were in vanilla BG2 are missing. Most of the rooms are locked and there is no way to open them. Does this mean that the paladin stronghold is forfeit if i have Dorn in my party (even if my reputation is average)?

If you remove Dorn the radiant heart returns to normal. But for some reason, possible his trust issues, in my game Dorn left for good (reputation 14, just had sex with him)

Frankly, I'd have a paladin automatically fall for even taking up the quest.
