...roleplayed an evil character. I don't know why, but I just can't bring myself to do it.
Same here, it feels like im playing the game wrong if i try to be evil. And the high prices in stores annoys me, seriously wtf is with that?
Personally i wish BGEE seperated the morallity aspect of alignments from reputation somehow to allow for a better roleplay of characters, either that or seperate your rep amongst the group from your rep to the general public.
Can anybody confirm, is there a evil outcome to the naskel mines? Can you steal the docs from the chest without being noticed?
By roleplaying evil, do you mean "be a dick in conversations" or stuff like killing Drizzt for monetary gain? Because I have no problems "roleplaying" greed. It's totally an act and I'm a great person inside, I swear.
I'm okay with evil acts in a non-RP perspective (example: I have no qualms about killing Drizzt. It's not a good or evil thing, it's the fact that he has the best weapons in the game). But being a prick to people? Killing innocents, picking the "bad" options in conversations, letting people suffer/die...can't do it. That, and a bad reputation makes everything expensive, which is an issue until you've accumulated enough stuff not to care.
Roleplay a good party, I just would not be able to. The way I roleplay evil, is try to squeeze as much profit out of everything as possible, if someone dies in the process, unfortunate, and priests tend to be very corrupt and spread word about the good things you've done if you pay them enough.
@Arcalian as far as I know, if you let Tranzig go, he will mark the bandit camp on the map but he will also warn them that you are coming.. therefore no chance to infiltrate the camp.
I've never ... had any of the NPCs start fighting with each other while in my party. I just tried to make it happen with CTRL+I and it did happen eventually, but they have to stand next to each other. So I guess it just takes more time to play before it happens naturally!
