Can't import character from BG:EE

I would expect that it would do this automatically. I'm on OSX 7.5, and I finished BG:EE and it said it created an export file. It doesn't show up as an option to import in BG2:EE and I can't find where it is on my computer.

    I'm pretty sure you still have to copy the files manually from your BGEE folder to your BG2EE folder.

    Thanks. I got it to work, there was just some weirdness with the folder I thought I needed being an alias.

    I wonder how hard it would be to add a feature in the next patch to make the game check BGEE save/character folders.
