Hexxat and death (spoilers maybe)

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I accidentally got Hexxat killed when I paused, put on her cloak, then rested twice, then unpaused. Apparently the game read that as 16 hours without her cloak on. I tried just control-r on her, but she prefers to stay dead, I guess...

She keeps insisting that she needs Dragomir's Respite, but I can't tell how you let her in or out. Am I missing something? I really want her back!

    Is she stuck in cloud form? If so, remove her from the party and add her again.
    Otherwise Hexxat should move automatically into the bag.

    I ended up just loading an old save. If it happens again, I'll try removing her from the party. Thanks!
