Chaos Shield and Improved Chaos Shield

If you cast the two of them, do they stack? I noticed both icons will show up on the character portrait at once but I can't find anything concrete.

    I know that if you Chain Contingency 3 Improved Chaos Shields, they all stack and it basically pushes the wild surge number to 100 so you always get the desired effect. With that in mind, I'm pretty sure they stack but like you, I don't know of anything concrete.
