Watcher's Keep question

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi,

Im at the end of chapter 2,

Is there anything wrong with interacting with the knights at Watcher's Keep so that I can access the shop to buy potion cases?

I plan to do Watcher's Keep later in ToB. Im just wondering if it will cause any bugs (maybe with conversation triggers within the party) or levelling problems like all the monsters in the dungeons will be low levelled when I return later in the game?

    It won't cause any bugs, and if you don't enter the actual keep it shouldn't cause any level/difficulty scaling either.

    Once past the initial conversation, they tell you to speak with sister gallina (the merchant) and brother Pol. I recommend ignoring Pol until you're ready to enter the keep. He gives you 2 items that are need to complete the keep's storyline. You can get the two items earlier if you like, but they don't have any use and just take up space. Just don't lose them.
