Should I start new playthrough here or in BG:EE?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi everyone,

For my second playthrough, I'm playing a human Swashbuckler -> Mage. Right now I'm still thinking on whether it's better to start him out in BG:EE or in BG2:EE. Are there any outstanding benefits that make it worth it to start in BG:EE besides the tomes?

I wanna get more xp since I'll be dual classing but I also wanna save time since my schedule has been getting more and more hectic. Thanks!

    Play BG1ee if you want to, if you don't, start a new bg2ee game, save, open eeKeeper give yourself 171000 xp and +1 to every stat you roll (+3 to wis if you want) and profit!
