BG2 Rasaad's quest (Spoilers)

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Is the quest supposed to end after the battle at the heretic temple with the dark moon leader escaping? Do i have to wait for ToB to finish it or something?

    So if the battle ends with
    Rasaad deciding to help the weaponmaster guy rebuild that castle - i.e. when that golden colored monk survives
    then he won't be back until ToB?
