Hi, I've been playing Baldur's Gate since I was 14, I'm currently 25.

I recently got back into it as a friend bought me the 4 in 1 box set that was released in 2000.

I'm running it on my windows 8 laptop, and although I've gone through the .INI file and entered the
Cheats=1 line, it won't let me bring up the CLUA Console, or anywhere I can enter a cheat into.

Normally I don't use cheats, but as I've completed this game a few times now, I'd like to go through it with some of the more kick ass armour and weaponry.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I believe that most of the things discussed in the first post of that thread will work in the original version of the games. If not, you might want to try a web search. There's still a lot of information about the original games out there.
