TorGal's claw (the strangest item in the game?)

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I really wonder what's up with TorGal's claw. I have played BGII six or seven times, and this is my first time playing BGII:EE. In all that time, TorGal has dropped the claw once or twice. It's amazing, really.

Needless to say, I just defeated him and no, no claw.

Anyone know what the trigger(s) might be?

    I think TorGal's Claw is an item added by the Tactics mod, but I'm not a hundred percent certain on that.

    Sure it was something from a mod, I killed him a week ago (in the vanilla), and he only dropped gold (form a loot table, and some coded to be gold).

    It's definately a mod-item.
