Azlaer's Harp versus Bard/Blade Song

So my brilliant Blade 'Zeno' recently performed the lead role in the opening performance of "The Sorcerer's Bane," and subsequently was awarded Azlaer's Harp by the attending Council member.

Azlaer's Harp magically removes Fear. Is this not exactly the same thing that the standard Bard and Blade songs do?

I can understand why the Harp might be helpful for Jesters and Skalds, but it simply duplicates the Bard/Blade song, as far as I can tell.

Am I missing something?
