PC1 can't connect to PC2 for MP, but the other way around it works

I try tcp ip connection, when I try to join the session on my GFs computer, it works.
However, when I host myself, she can't connect via my IP.

Ping is working both ways

anyone have any idea what is blocking this?

    Firewall and port forwarding come to mind as potential suspects.

    have you tried beamdog.net?

    have you tried hamachi? if so have you made sure connections were direct?
