Yep. He'll start teasing her, she'll get scared, and eventually she'll tell you it's him or her and give you a one day limit on kicking one of them out. If you don't kick out Krogan, she'll leave. They will get along in TOB, though.
Whether or not they do it is random. Its not guaranteed that it will happen but I'd say its likely. As Twani mentioned though Aerie stands up for herself in ToB, so its really just SoA that you have to worry about.
A sweet, empathetic, caring and brave avariel girl vs a grumpy, violent and insane dwarf who constantly threatens to kill you... Yeah... cya later Korgan, you dare raise a finger against Aerie and I'll have her polymorph you into a squirrel. And then Imprison that squirrel. In Hell.
Seriously though, I love Aerie, who along with Anomen, really have depth and character, and really develop throughout the game.
I haven't used Aerie since my first playthrough, but I've been hearing things about how she can be the strongest NPC so I'm considering trying her again but I feel like playing Korgan this time and I generally like playing female Charnames, but I guess I can try to do a male Charname and keep Korgan separate from Aerie so they don't banter... Not sure...
Maybe I'll do an all elven playthrough one of these times with a Ranger/Cleric and Wilson.
Charname (Ranger/Cleric) Jaheira Aerie Neera Viconia Wilson => Imoen-elf?
I just noticed that that team is almost completely the same as my current all female run though... Maybe take Haer'Dalis over Jaheira but then traps/locks are a real issue... Also, Jaheira is an awesome frontline fighter especially at 6 million exp when she really comes into her own with all of those spell slots.
I guess I can go Haer'Dalis over Viconia though since I'll have a cleric already... Its nice to get level 7 spells as fast as Viconia does though.
Does Tiefling count as an elf?
Maybe I should do a Cleric/Thief instead or something...
Tiefling counts as tiefling. They get the elven bonuses to THAC0 (+1) with longswords, shortswords and bows, though. They don't get the sleep and charm immunities, but Haer does get other damage resistances when he gets to a high level (15% physical immunity, as well as 25% fire and cold resistance, or something similar).

I was thinking lore wise whether they were mixed blood elves because I don't have a players manual with me but thanks for listing the bonuses!

Tieflings could be members of pretty much every mortal race... flavour wise, I mean. It's just that Tieflings don't normally possess the racial traits of their parent race. The AD&D Planescape campaign setting was rather flexible in that regard.
However, that kind of thinking ceased to be with the arrival of D&D 3rd edition and upwards: Tieflings became Human-only Planetouched. At pretty much the same time, the Forgotten Realms campaign setting got its own winged, elven tiefling subrace: the Fey'ri.

Well, being male or female makes no difference to Korgan and Aerie's conflict. Unless you're thinking you get any bonuses for romancing her, which you don't.
If you really don't want to hear Aerie talk about her wings, then play as a female charname and you don't (unless you or another NPC ask her about it, and then she just mumbles and/or quickly changes the subject). Or else, it's a radical move, but you can not encourage her and just tell her you're not interested and she stops talking to you about it. The truth is she's actually a very quiet and more introspective character, and she'll only confide in Charname's she really trusts, and obviously the longer you leave letting her down, the harder she'll take it, but there's almost always a way to do so without upsetting her too much.
As for Korgan though, he's just relentless; without a mod or changing variables to trick the game it'll be very hard to keep them apart, although possibly not impossible.
For me the best parts of her romance are the conflicts she gets into with Jaheira and Viconia. Oh the elvish drama... it's beautiful to behold. Turns out sweet little Aerie has quite the mouth on her
Her banters with Korgan are cute too (well not the banters themselves, but the way she runs to you after one of them). If you're worried about losing her you can always boot Korgan when the time comes. My experience has been that it's not that difficult to keep them both, they do fight but most banters are harmless.

It's quite cute seeing Aerie trying to stand her ground against two women obviously far more used to conflict than her. But she has all that pent up anger on her side, and once she has found a weak spot she'll attack it. Good fighting skill; I imagine Jaheira would actually be quite impressed, once they've both simmered down.
Yeah, Viconia and Jaheira are witty but Aerie pulls no punches. It was a good moment for her. And I'm impressed Jaheira took it maturely. I bet she was seriously tempted to Insect Plague her.
Great now you make me wanna roll a male PC, to experience aerie's romance with a party including Viconia and Jaheria and I guess I'd throw in Korgan too >< Ugh but I hate male characters......I suppose I could EEKeeper a male to female and do it that way =/
I love having all the romance options for males in one party. It's endlessly amusing to see them snipe at each other. It get's even better with modded characters. It feels like CHARNAME is the protag of a harem anime or something.

You can also just CLUA the Aerie romance settings so she'll romance you regardless of gender/race.
Of course, with a female CHARNAME it becomes hard to explain when
