How to verify Skald Song in effect?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi Friends,

How can I verify that my Skald Song is working and working properly?
My Skald does sing per text and the musical note is displayed upon the character portraits.
…but I do not see a statistical difference on the record page when song is played and not played.

(My Mac: Version 10.7.5, BGII: purchased from App Store)

    You should see a "Bard Song" icon on your character portraits indicating they are under the effects; the AC bonus is probably the easiest to check. I have a PC version and it works properly.
    I would suggest to use the "Bard Controlled" script, it is quite useful for Skalds.

    It does not register for me either.. :/ As in, its not verifiable in any display of AC/THACO/damage. Boo, I hope there isn't a bug.

    Ugh. Sounds bugged indeed. Have you tried enabling to-hit rolls? You should be able to see there if the to-hit bonus is actually applied.

    When I use Enhanced Bard Song (which basically does the same thing), you can see the music icon and you can see that to-hit, AC and damage numbers are changed on the character sheets as well.
