BG2:EE IPAD 1 Problems with purchasing Dorn

Okay so I just downloaded BG2:EE for Ipad 1, and tried to purchase Neera and Dorn. First clicked Dorn and after entering my password to buy him, the app crashed.

Since trying to restart the app, the game crashes now before I even get to the main screen. Any ideas anyone...?

ps. No, I'm not buying another ipad model.

    So I tried deleting and reinstalling BG2:EE on ipad 1. Now the freshly reinstalled version loads up and prompts me to enter a password again, then crashes. Its as if its stuck in limbo trying to complete the purchase transaction of Dorn everytime I start up the game now, but it can't complete it so it just crashes.

    Sort of sucks horribly since I had no issues whatsoever with BG1 on Ipad 1 and I've waited forever tweeting Trent for news on BG2:EE for ipad. Now its finally out and this.

    Any help at all would be very appreciated.
