Is there one? and at what level can a character expect to finish black pits 2 assuming he starts at ~10,thanks!

    The XP cap of BG2:EE is 8 millions XP, and it is the same for each class/multi class and dual class, heer I'll tell you how they'll end.
    Mages, Sorcerers and Druids: level 31th
    Paladins and Rangers: level 34th
    Bards, Thieves, Fighters, Barbarians, Monks and Clerics: level 40th
    Then, multi-classes get capped at 8 millions too, I don't know these charts by memory, so I can't help.

    thanks but my question was for the black pits 2 alone not the actual game!

    if I complete black pits 2 with a 6-man group,what level will my characters be?(approximately)

    Oh, I didn't get the question.
    I've haven't played BP2 but after looking at the enemies files I suspect that you end around 8 millions.
    It gives an amount of XP to every character so they end with the same XP, having 3 or 6 folks in your party won't make this change.

    You gain 6 million quest XP from the tiered battles and a bit more from the finale. You should finish at 6.5 million at the least.
