Racial Enemy re-selection

I was planning on making a Ranger (Archer) in BGEE that I would carry over into BG2 EE when I have the spare money. However, I noticed the list of Racial Enemies in BG1 is quite slim compared to BG2. Previously this hadn't been an issue since I made my ranger in old BG2 without having played it in old BG1. Do you get to re-pick your racial enemy in BG2EE? I used the search but didn't see anything conclusive.
