Can i sell Ankheg shells somewhere?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Ribald won't buy it and the rest of my party is wearing full plate +1 or even +2 so none of them actually need it :/

    Do you mean Ankheg Plate?
    As to the shells, I don't recall anyone being willing to buy them, but Cromwell will gladly charge you a ridiculous sum to fashion some Ankheg Plate out of them.

    Pretty clear Korlamaq already knows this. The plate itself costs far more than you'll actually get if you sell it so its not worth it in his case.

    As for your ability to sell the shell its an item with a price of 0 gold. You can't sell it.
