[BUG] Game freezes the CTD after area transition attempt

in BG:EE Bugs (v1.2)
I loaded up my most recent save and tried to leave Beregost for the Temple. After I clicked on the Temple the game froze. After about a minute or so, the game crashed to desktop. A .dmp was not created. I tried to load an earlier save and the same issue occurred on all saves and all characters.

    No mods, no edits. Just occasional alt+f4 quits after quick saves. I will try a fresh install and see if that clears up the saves.

    Do other saves do this? It could be Quick save corruption, try with a new character and tell me if this happens. Tagging @Troodon80‌ because he might know about this.

    All the saves were having the same issue. However after I reinstalled the game, things seems to be working again. Thanks for your help.
